Spread Pick em’!
Chicago Bears (1-0) at
New Orleans Saints (0-1) -7.5
Probably the toughest game of the week to predict and I think the bears defense is good but I can’t see them holding in an enraged 0-1 Drew Bress. The only question I have, is the saints defense that bad? Or is Arron Godgers that good? Pick: Saints
Cleveland Browns (0-1) at
Indianapolis Colts (0-1) +2.5
I wonder if they will hand the MVP trophy to Peyton at halftime. I think the Colts are disgraceful and although the browns didn’t show up week one I think week two will have a different effect. Pick: Browns
Kansas City Chiefs (0-1) at
Detroit Lions (1-0) -8.5
Although I think Vegas is begging you to pick the chiefs I do think they have to many problems on defense and offense to truly compete with a blooming lions team
Pick: Lions
Green Bay Packers (1-0) at
Carolina Panthers (0-1) +10.5
LOCK OF THE WEEK. With the loss of Jon Beason I can’t see the panthers stopping Rodgers at all this week. Finley is going to be wide open the whole game and I think the Packers put up points as they so will it. Only worry is Cam Newton throwing bombs in garbage time Pick: GB
Baltimore Ravens (1-0) at
Tennessee Titans (0-1) +5.5
I may be a fool for picking the titans in this spread but I think the titans play it close this week. Baltimore was an offensive explosion last week as they crushed my Steelers and my heart but I think they play this one close. Gut call. Pick Titans
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-1) at
Minnesota Vikings (0-1) -3.5
Mcnabb threw for 37 yards last week… any more questions?
Pick: Bucs
Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0) at
New York Jets (1-0) -10.5
I’ve watched pretty much all of Mark Sanchez games and the jets and him don’t really blow teams out. I think this line is too high and even though the jags are potentially horrific I don’t see the Jets dominating them.
Pick: Jags
Arizona Cardinals (1-0) at
Washington Redskins (1-0) -4.5
Cam Newton threw for over 400 against a devastated Arizona secondary and I’m sad to say that Rex Grossman might do the same.
Pick: Redskins
Seattle Seahawks (0-1) at
Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1) -14.5
Last time I said steelers blowout I ate my words. I think the defense has something to prove this week and although the line is rather high I can easily see this being a 30 to 7 win.
Dallas Cowboys (0-1) at
San Francisco 49ers (1-0) -2.5
Does vegas really think the 49ers are that good and the Cowboys that bad? I think this another LOCK OF THE WEEK
Pick: Cowboys
Cincinnati Bengals (1-0) at
Denver Broncos (0-1) -5.5
This is probably the game I’m having the hardest time choosing I think both times are horrific. Sadly, I think Benson is gonna run all over the Broncos.
Pick: Cinci
Houston Texans (1-0) at
Miami Dolphins (0-1) +2.5
I’m not a believer in the Chad Henne Experience and I think Houston defense is for real.
Pick: Houston
San Diego Chargers (1-0) at
New England Patriots (1-0) -6.5
San Diego always starts slow and I don’t know if anyone watched but Brady didn’t start slow and won’t slow down.
Pick: New England
Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) at
Atlanta Falcons (0-1) +2.5
What a game this one is. I just can’t take the falcons to win this one after how they looked last week. I know Matt Ryan doesn’t lose at home but I think this is a revenge game for Vick
Pick Eagles
St. Louis Rams (0-1) at
New York Giants (0-1) -6.5
Monday Night games stink this year. I think the Rams play it close enough to the struggling Giants.
